දයාබරිය,
අපි ශුශ්ක වූ පරිච්චේද නැමති
කාන්තාර බිම්ද තරණය කල යුතුම වෙමු
මන්ද යත්
පූර්ණත්වය ඇත්තේ එබිම් අවසානයෙහිය
ශීත සෘතු දිනයන් බලා
අපේ හදවත් නැමති හිරු එළිය
සිනාසෙයි නම්
හදවත් මතුයෙහි මතු පිබිදෙන
වසන්ත කුසුම් ගැන
සැක කරන්න්නේ මන්ද?
